1. Place the device on the frame. Position the backplate over the device, secure it with the 6 included screws. The screw heads are T10 Torx. The mount points on the ModTek Dock (Note: sold separately) is used to guide the device correctly toward the USB-C connector for a smooth connection and to avoid unnecessary wear.
2. Docking a Hard Case: The Hard Case and the Dock include alignment indicators to show where they should line up. Place the Hard Case onto the dock so the mount point are engaged before attempting to slide the case onto the USB-C connector. Note: When the markings are aligned, slide the Hard Case toward the USB-C connector until you hear a clear click. This should be easy to do. If the movement requires force, start over and make sure the mounting point engages correctly.
3. Releasing a Hard Case from the Dock: Use the quick release dial by turning it clockwise similar to turning a key. Now grab the Hard Case and slide it untill you see the allignment line and then pull the case towards you.
4. This Hard Case can be used with the ModTek Dock for tablets (two mounting points). The product is fully assembled.
