Are you using your Pidion every day in your work? Then a Brodit active holder will make your days much easier! By keeping the device in an active holder, you will always have it within easy sight and reach while driving between jobs. Not only that; this active holder supplies a fully charged battery at all times, as well as USB on-the-go! This means that the Symbol can be run as both host and client (depending on the equipment connected to the holder).
The active holder has a unique slim design with the charging box integrated in the holder, so the cigarette lighter cable has no hefty charging box on the cable. The holder is made of black ABS plastic which is cold and heat resistant so you can use it in any environment. It is safe to use because of the short circuit protection and its high efficiency which reduces the heat produced in the unit.
Attach the holder to a ProClip Mounting Platform in order to get a firm installation in any car or truck. The holder can be used with the following cables:

Please read all of the instructions and look at the pictures before attaching the holder. Important Note: Route the cable from the holder into the vehicle dashboard and route the power cable from the charger unit to the power supply source in the vehicle and connect as follows: 1. Connect the White wire to a Negative Ground connection of the vehicle or the vehicle chassis. 2. Connect the Red wire to a 12/24 Volt power supply in the vehicle that is controlled by the ignition switch of the vehicle.
Installation of the holder: 1. Loosen the screw in the center of the holder so you can remove the tilt swivel attaching plate on the back.
2. Place the attaching plate onto the desired position. Screw the attaching plate into place with the enclosed screws. Place the holder over the attaching plate so the screw fits in the hole in the tilt swivel.
3. Screw a few turns on the screw, just so the thread starts to pull. Pull the holder toward you and hold it slightly tensed, in the same time tighten the screw so the holder is pulled toward the tilt swivel. Tighten the screw until the holder is firmly in place, but still can be adjusted.
4. The holder is in place.
