Holders for all new Apple iPhone 12 models

With the iPhone 12 lineup launch last month, Apple now offers more size options than ever when buying an iPhone. In addition, all four of the devices, iPhone mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, share a new design including a more squared edge, similar to the iPhone 4 and 5, but with edge-to-edge OLED displays and a notch at the top for Face ID.

Both the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max phones have some of the most advanced features that Apple has designed in a smartphone - with the iPhone Pro Max can record video in Dolby Vision HDR, 4K, and at 60 frames per second.

There are also some new colours to choose from, which is not an essential feature but always interesting to see what they desire. The iPhone 12 and 12 mini come in white, black, blue, green and (Product) Red, of which blue and pale green are new. Meanwhile, the 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max come in silver, gold, Graphite, and their new Pacific Blue.

A headline feature for the new generation of iPhones is their ability to support 5G, which Apple calls "the most exciting step yet".

The general benefits of 5G are faster internet access when away from home Wi-Fi, potentially could be as much as 4Gbps under optimal conditions. But, of course, as we know, specific speeds vary hugely depending on time and location.

MagSafe, a feature first seen on MacBook power led phased-out back in 2016, have seen a return with the launch of the iPhone 12 models. MagSafe for the 12 models means a system of magnets designed to hold a wireless charging pad in the right place to charge the iPhone and ensures your iPhone is in the correct spot every time you charge and won't accidentally fall off if bumped.

For screen sizes, in two cases, they are more extensive than in the past. First, Apple has kept the frame sizes roughly the same but increased screen sizes of 6.1in/5.8in/6.5in (11/11 Pro/11 Pro Max) to 6.1in/6.1in/6.7in (12/12 Pro/12 Pro Max). Second, the iPhone 12 mini is a new screen size of 5.4in.
